A mobile unit of Mujahideen attacked Russian special forces troops in Shatoi district on Sunday, Septemder 2, eliminating 2 Russian terrorists in a brief clash. The Mujahideen suffered no casualties.
Russian artillery pounded a supposed withdrawal route of the fighters causing no losses to the Mujahideen. No other details were reported to the Kavkaz Center news agency by its source in the Chechen Military Command.
