Publication time: 6 September 2006, 15:05

In his address to the Chechen people in connection with  the Ichkeria Independence Day on September 6, Dokku Umarov, the President of the Chechen Repulic of Ickkeria said that the Chechen Armed Forces resist the Russian invaders for 15 years already.

"Every person appearing in this world and especially a Muslim is entitled by Allah to defend his honor and freedom. If there is no honor and no striving for freedom, then it is impossible to defend also the Faith. In addition, all the norms of international law permit the people to defend its security and freedom", the President stressed.

"The reason is not with us and not with our way of actions but with the new world order and cataclysms produced by it", the President said.

The Present also paid attention to  the fact that nowdays practically all the peoples of North Caucasus take part in the Holy War against the colonial Russian Empire to defend Faith, Freedom and Honor.
