Puppet took hostage mothers of Mujahideen as human shield and drove them out to forests

Publication time: 4 September 2010, 13:22

KC sources report that about 4 am on Saturday, large puppet forces staged a mass hostage taking among the parents of Mujahideen in Vedeno, Nozhai-Yurt and Kurchaloi districts of the Nokhchicho province.

During the hostage taking, Kadyrovites staged pogroms in the houses, beating up anyone who comes to hand.

Information about the mass hostage-taking of mothers and fathers of the Mujahideen have been confirmed, in particular, by relatives of the Yaraliyev family living in the district center of Vedeno.

It is reported that a 60-year-old head of family Yaraliyev and his wife were taken hostage, along with other parents of the Mujahideen. His younger son went to the mountains in May 2008.

More than a hundred elderly mothers, fathers and sisters of the Mujahideen were brought to the forest edge. Then, at a gunpoint, puppets drove the hostages out to the woods, hiding behind them.

As for midday on Saturday, puppets together with Mujahideen mothers are staying in the woods and calling the Mujahideen on the radio, threatening to shoot their mothers, fathers and sisters.

No precise data is available now on the fate of Mujahideen parents. It is reported that more than 100 mothers, fathers, sisters and the Mujahideen have been taken hostage. The number of hostages is probably higher, as the raids were conducted in several villages of Vedeno, Nozhai-Yurt and Kurchaloi districts.
