Moscow 'found' some other 'bases of terrorists' in Georgia

Publication time: 6 September 2010, 12:41

A Russian terrorist gang, "Interior ministry", issued another statement saying that Georgia was allegedly hosting some "special camps for training militants".

A deputy ringleader of the gang "General directorate of interior ministry", a certain general Simakov, said in an interview with Moscow "Vremya Novostei" newspaper that his gang "had information on creation of such camps".

"Georgia has become visibly active lately, he said. - We have information that special military camps for training militants have been created on the territory of Georgia".

"Caucasian natives - mainly criminals or those who are wanted by European countries -are being assembled there, trained and later sent to us through neighboring countries", the police ringleader claims.

He said that "not long time ago, a clash took place with a group of militants attempting to cross the Russian-Azeri border, in which an Azeri border guard and a gunman were killed, and two others detained".

"During the interrogation, it was revealed that they had French and Austrian residence permits. The suspects were recruited in Europe by extremist organizations and sent for training to Georgia. After the training, the militants were supposed to operate on Russian territory ", Simakov claimed.

He also said that his Russian terrorist gangs of police and the FSB were actively cooperating with Azerbaijani authorities against the Caucasian Mujahideen.

"We will improve these contacts ... In principle, the fight against Wahhabism is to be attempted to be waged everywhere. Unfortunately, North Caucasus is the ground most favorable for recruitment of militants", Simakov explained.

Police ringleader was also forced to admit "an aggravation of the situation in the North Caucasus". He explained this "aggravation" by a duty argument of "militants' being financed from abroad".

"Recently, the situation really escalated in Dagestan, Ingushetia, Kabardino-Balkaria", the Russian invaders' boss admitted.

"Militants operating in the North Caucasus are well prepared, and their funding is coming from abroad. Apparently, the leaders of reactionary forces who finance the militants have intelligence agencies, and therefore militants hit our targets which they feel weakly protected - the ringleader said acknowledging high efficiency of Mujahideen attacks. - This once again confirms that we have to deal with an enemy, who is not operating at an amateur level".

"Using the Wahhabism, some forces in some states, interested in maintaining instability in the North Caucasus, render financial assistance and send emissaries here, - Simakov continued. - I cannot say to what extent these forces act on behalf of those states, but the for a number of years, there are facts of detention and elimination of Arab nationals who are fighting in the Caucasus".
